The Christmas season is all about sitting back with a good film. Here are our top 3 films that are set to be released over the next couple of months.
Jumanji – Welcome to the Jungle
Release date: 20th December 2017
If you’re looking for an exciting and funny 3D movie, then why not try Jumanji? It is a standalone sequel to the original Jumanji film from 1995. This film stars Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Nick Jonas, Bobby Cannavale and Karen Gillan. IT is a tribute to Robin Williams so sadly died on the 11th August 2014.
It’s been 20 years since the events of the original Jumanji film and this time, the infamous board game has evolved into a video game. Four teenagers are in detention and are cleaning out the school’s basement when they get sucked into the same jungle that Alan Parrish got sucked into 20 years ago. The teenagers become their avatars inside the video game and the only way to get themselves out is to play along and finish it.
Insidious – The Last Key
Release date: 5th January 2018
If you love a good horror film then you may want to schedule a trip to the cinema this January. The Last Key is the fourth entry to the Insidious series. After the supernatural events that happened in the previous film, Elise Rainier begins to investigate recent disturbances that have been going on in a family home. A home where she used to live in her youth.

We all love Paddington bear. In this movie we see Paddington settled and living with the Brown family in Windsor Gardens. He has become very popular within his community and offers people emotional support, however Mr Curry still does not trust him. It’s Aunt Lucy’s 100th Birthday and so Paddington would like to buy her a special gift. He notices a unique pop-up book of London and takes on a variety of jobs to be able to save up and afford the book.
The day before he plans to purchase the book, he sees it being stolen from the shop and ends up being accused of the crime. There isn’t any evidence to prove that the thief existed and so Paddington is wrongfully sent to prison. But who stole the book?
