This camera’s operation is one of the simplest out there, which is another reason everybody wants one. The camera is auto-focus and is complete with a built-in flash which can be turned on and off. The LCD screens on the back of the camera tell you how many shots you have remaining, and display the mode that the camera is currently in, as well as the battery life, which is very handy.

The film is loaded with 10 prints which measure 62x46mm which is roughly the size of a credit card. Packs of films are a little pricey, However, it can be cheaper to buy in bulk. You will quickly find that you are more conservative with your shutter finger when you are shooting with any kind of film.

You can use the Mini 90 in portrait or landscape orientation, the camera has a shutter button for each position. This camera also comes with a range of modes for you to play around with when taking your photos. These include a Party mode, Kids mode, Landscape mode and Macro mode. Another great feature is the Double Exposure mode which allows you to layer two images on top of one another.

When it comes to inserting the film, It’s a case of simply slotting the cartridge inside the camera and closing the door. The camera will automatically eject the protective cover, and then you’re good to go. When you’re ready to take a photo all you need to do is press one of the shutter buttons to take a photo, a blank slide will pop out of a door that’s your photo! All that’s left for you to do is watch as the film develops.

One of the best things about the Instax film is the variety of different film borders available, Of course, the plain white border film is the most popular. The large area at the bottom of this frame gives you room to write with a Sharpie, great for jotting down little messages on your photos.

This camera is absolutely the best thing I’ve bought in a long time. I have hundreds of photos which I can’t bring myself to sort through. With this camera you will limit the amount of photos you take, but people say sometimes less is more.

They’re fun, cute, and a really nice keepsake to look at over and over again.
