I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! A British made reality television game show series in which many celebrities live together in a jungle environment for a few weeks or possibly some months. They have zero luxuries, and they must compete to be crowned king or queen of the jungle.
Started August 2002 and a 15th UK series was aired in November 2015, with another one due to air at the same time the following year.
The show’s use of live insects and other living creatures in the bushtucker trials has led to some public criticism of the show and its producers and those involved in the programming.
The programme is returning to ITV for its 16th series in November, which of course means the big question on our lips is ‘Who’s going into the jungle this time, the official line-up has been listed, we’ve been squeezing our sources for the biggest and best rumours so far, it’s rumoured ITV bosses have decided to cull the amount of reality stars appearing in the series.
According to the Mirror, Aliona Vilani and Ola Jordan are possible contenders for this years I’m A Celeb. Apparently, the shows bosses think Ola would be ‘TV gold’ on the show, however, they are also interested in her arch rival Aliona. Both starred on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing last year, but decided to quit. They were undoubtedly beautiful on the show, but there would only be room for one in the jungle.
Could Carol Vorderman star in this year’s I’m A Celeb? We could see her entering as the ‘brains’ of the camp as well as increasing the number of male viewers.
According to the Mirror, Nigel Farage is in talks of being on the show… Yes really! The Mirror says, ‘The former UKIP politician is set to appear in the jungle after Celebrity Big Brother bosses reportedly turned down his huge demand of £750,000 to go on the Channel 5 show.’
Scarlett Moffatt from the tv show ‘Gogglebox’ is also rumoured to be in this year’s lineup. The bosses of I’m A Celeb this she will be the perfect fit for this years show as she was a great character on Gogglebox. Could it be down to her hilarious one-liners?
Will Craig Charles make a dramatic return to this year’s show? He was in the jungle back in 2014 but had to leave because his brother sadly died. Now, two years on, we’re all hoping he may come back to finish what he had started on the show!
Adam Thomas from Emmerdale could follow in his brother’s footsteps (Love Island star Scott) by entering the jungle and becoming a reality star himself. We think he’d make the perfect contestant!
The show is extremely popular and we’re very much excited for it to start towards the middle/end of November. Our popcorn at the ready!
